Is Feinstein Afraid Public Will Learn Truth if FBI Report on Kavanaugh is Made Public

A week ago, I, like millions of other Americans, watched the crucifixion of Judge Brett Kavanaugh by the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

It was obvious from the onset that they had already convicted Kavanaugh without any proof of any wrong doing. They didn’t care what Kavanaugh said nor did they care or pay any attention to the evidence that Kavanaugh put forth to prove his innocence.

Within minutes of when President Donald Trump announced the nomination of Kavanaugh, Democrats began plotting against him, hoping to block the confirmation of a sound and staunch constitutionalist. After all, Democrats just can’t allow anyone who makes rulings based upon the Constitution and law, to sit on the Supreme Court as that goes against everything the Democratic Party stands for. They want another Ginsberg, Kagan and Sotomayor on the high court, someone who readily re-interprets the Constitution and law into what they believe it should say.

It was interesting that in Kavanaugh’s opening statement, he attacked some of the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee for their previously overtly biased comments about blocking Kavanaugh because he was appointed by Trump.

In the American justice system, the accused should be considered innocent until proven guilty and the task of proof rests on the accuser, not the accused. The exact thing happened that day in the Senate chamber.

Note that when Ford testified, every Republican Senator was polite and courteous to her, even if they didn’t believe her account was accurate. Even though the burden of proof was on Ford, she provided no proof and still Republican senators treated her with respect. When Kavanaugh testified, a number of the Democrats attacked him and treated him like he was already a convicted criminal. There was little to no respect given in the way they treated Kavanaugh.

Throughout Kavanaugh’s testimony and questioning, Democrat after Democrat called for an FBI investigation, a move seen by many as just an attempt to stall Kavanaugh’s confirmation until after the midterm elections. Some of the Democrats spent more time trying to get Kavanaugh to take the bait of an FBI investigation rather than ask him any questions.

Democrats wanted that Senate hearing to be televised to the nation in hopes that it would paint Kavanaugh as some sex crazed fiend who has a long history of sexually attacking females. They wanted the public to see and hear them (the Democrats) make Kavanaugh look like a monster, in hopes of turning public opinion against him to the point that Trump would be forced to withdraw the nomination.

Democrats won in that they are getting their FBI investigation and the confirmation vote is being delayed, but not long enough for Democrats.

After the public circus last week in the Senate hearing, wouldn’t you expect the Democrats to want the results of the FBI investigation into the allegations against Kavanagh, be made public? Clearly, that’s a yes, but evidently, it’s a no, as reported:

“CNN reporter Elizabeth Landers noted as much in a tweet quoting committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein. Landers tweeted, ‘(Feinstein) indicates that the FBI report on Kavanaugh should NOT be made public: ‘It would seem to me that if people are going to be identified this ought to be held very close and not. I think the investigation ought to be closely held,’ she (Feinstein) reiterated’.”

So, why the turnabout with the results of the FBI investigation? If Democrats were so sure that it would turn evidence against Kavanaugh, wouldn’t they want the public to know?

The only logical reason for suddenly wanting to keep the FBI investigation quiet isn’t about protecting others, but to prevent the American people from learning the truth about how innocent Kavanaugh is. Such findings would only hurt the Democrats and reveal the fact that the call for an FBI investigation at that time (when they had 2 months to already ask for one) was nothing more than the delay tactic many accused them of using.

Feinstein, and probably other Democrats, don’t want the American people to find out that Kavanaugh is innocent as that would give them no grounds on which to oppose his confirmation, other than their hatred for President Trump, the Constitution and American as a whole.
