Trump Needs to Investigate Mueller

Trump Needs to Investigate Mueller

go to link It seems there are more investigations into campaign issues taking place than ever before. There are investigations being carried out by various House and Senate committees as well as others.

The main investigation receiving most of the media attention is the one being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Why the Justice Department selected Mueller to be the Special Counsel is still not clear. Perhaps it was because they thought that Mueller had some loyalty to the Republican Party since he began his career in the Judicial Department when Ronald Reagan appointed him to be a US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts in 1986. He was then appointed to be the US Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division by George H. W. Bush in 1990. But then Bill Clinton appointed Mueller to be the US Attorney for the Northern District of California, before George W. Bush appointed him to be the Acting US Deputy Attorney General. Then George W. Bush appointed Mueller to be the Director of the FBI, a position he held from 2001 to 2013; a position he held for 5 years under Barack Obama.

voltaren xr 100mg side effects While the law requires a Special Counsel to be impartial, every indication from the Mueller investigation points to the fact that Mueller and his team are extremely biases against President Donald Trump. That bias along with other recent disturbing information provides the legal grounds for Trump to create a Special Counsel to investigate Mueller and his team.

It may sound preposterous, but it’s not as wild of an idea as you may first think.

In Congress, the list of members that have been expressing concern over Mueller’s investigation is growing and rightly so.

Remember the Russian Uranium One Deal? It was first investigated by an FBI whistleblower in 2009 when Mueller was FBI Director. The investigation turned up evidence of corruption, fraud and money laundering against members of the Obama administration. Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave her approval to the deal to sell 20% of America’s uranium supply to Russia and then shortly afterward, the Clinton Foundation received a huge donation from the same Russians involved in the deal. While Mueller was still FBI Director, the investigation into the Uranium One Deal was hushed and buried.

There have been calls from members of Congress for Mueller to recuse himself from the Special Counsel investigation of Russian election interference due to a conflict of interest, but Mueller has refused.

Then there is the question of the staff that Mueller has hired as part of the investigation. It’s been well publicized that 8 of the 16 attorneys hired have been donors to some Democrat’s political campaigns and not one ever donated to a Republican. Worse yet, one of Mueller’s team was present at Hillary Clinton’s election night party.

Then there is the matter of emails that have surfaced that clearly indicated the hatred for President Donald Trump by some of the members of Mueller’s team. Mueller did fire one of the email authors, but evidence indicates that others on his team are equally anti-Trump biased.

Mueller also refuses to answer questions from members of Congress as to how much the fake Trump dossier has played in his investigation. There is some opinion that the basis for the Mueller investigation was prompted on the fake Trump dossier, which was paid for by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

One News Now provides some additional disturbing bits of information that help provide the grounds for a Special Counsel investigation into Mueller and his investigation:

“Republicans on Capitol Hill, meanwhile, are asking if the Obama-led Department of Justice colluded with Democrats last year to take that questionable dossier to a federal court to obtain a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.”

“‘That is as wrong as it gets,’ Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told FBI Director Christopher Wray (see video below) in a Dec. 7 hearing. ‘Tell us if I’m wrong but I don’t think I am’.”

“Fox News reported last week that yet another investigator, Jeannie Rhee gave to Clinton’s campaign in 2015 and 2016, donating the maximum allowed by law. That revelation came after the FBI reassigned a top investigator, Peter Strzok, for sending thousands of anti-Trump text messages to a mistress who was also on Mueller’s legal team.”

“Fox News has also broke the news that Bruce Ohr, a Department of Justice official, was demoted after it was learned he concealed that he met with the authors of the anti-Trump dossier. It was also learned that Ohr’s wife, Nellie Ohr, works for Fusion GPS.”

Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel for the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ), and President Trump’s personal attorney, says a second Special Counsel should be appointed with the task of looking into Mueller, FBI and DOJ investigators. The question now is if Trump will listen to his attorney and turn the tables on Mueller and make him the target of a special investigation. After all, he has been violating most of the rules that guide a special counsel investigation.
