can you buy prednisone over the counter in canada There are many people who should never have kids or if they do, they should lose custody of them for a number of reasons. Some parents abuse their kids, physically, sexually or emotionally.

Other parents use drugs and bring them into the home along with the people who deal in drugs. Then there are those parents who have respect for the law or other people and teach their kids to how steal or take advantage of others.

You can probably think of a number of other reasons why some parents
should lose custody of their kids.

BUT, should parents lose custody of their children because they are Christians and want to raise their children in accordance to their Christian faith?

I’ve heard of Christians in countries such as Afghanistan, China, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and the Sudan who had their kids taken away from them because they are Christians. But did you ever think that would happen here in America?

I live just south of Cincinnati, Ohio and was shocked to see the local news of that very thing happening to Christian parents just this past week.

The parents have a 17-year- old daughter who now claims to be a boy – yep, a transgender. The daughter has been insisting that her parents allow her to undergo hormone therapy to help with the transition.

The parents refuse, saying that transgenderism is a sin and that the only therapy they would approve of is Christian therapy, not hormone therapy.

Like many liberal young people today, the daughter rebelled. She wants to live with her grandparents who say they support the sex change transition of their granddaughter and would be happy to have
her live with them so she could receive the hormone therapy, but the parents refuse.

The daughter obtained the help of a liberal attorney to take legal action against her parents in order to allow her to live with her grandparents and undergo her hormone therapy. Don’t forget the initial court
case, Obergefell v. Hodges, that led to the Supreme Court legalization of same-sex marriage, originated in Cincinnati.

The attorney for the parents argued that the daughter is still a minor and that parents have the legal authority and responsibility for minor children, but Judge Sylvia Hendon disagreed and said that what
the parents want is not in the best interest of the teenager and stripped the parents of their custody of their daughter, who will turn 18 in less than a year and then be able to make her own legal decisions.

Many people are saying that the court ruling really doesn’t make that much difference anyway since the daughter will be of legal age in less than a year and be able to make those decisions for herself.

Even some well-meaning conservatives have been saying this, but it does matter and in a big way.

The ruling in this case has just set a HUGE and IMPORTANT precedent that is certain to be used in other cases.

The Tony Perkins’ Washington Update from the Family Research Council explains why:

“What's especially alarming is that a lawyer representing the child — as well as Donald Clancy of the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office — cited the parents' religious beliefs as an argument for robbing them of their rights!

The mom and dad are being criticized for seeking out a Christian therapist for their daughter and for daring to send her to Catholic school. Even so, the parents were clear that their
stance on the gender transition wasn't motivated on faith alone. After all, they pointed out, they'd had lengthy consultations with medical professions and did hours of research on their own. Only then did they come to the conclusion that ‘this is not in their child's best interest.’ (The American College of Pediatricians — not to be confused with the more ‘politically correct’ American Academy of Pediatrics – agrees.)”

“For years, LGBT activists have scoffed at warnings from FRC and others that the radical LGBT movement poses a threat to personal and religious freedom. In the past, the Left directed most of its
attacks on religious expression in the public square, doing everything it could to restrict faith to the four walls of your house or church. Now, even that tolerance is tumbling down.”

Consider the fact that our public schools teach anti-Christian ideologies in every area of life. They are intentionally indoctrinating our young people to rebel against their parents’ Christian faith and
teaching and with a ruling like this, we will certainly see more misguided and brainwashed youth go to the courts to get away from their parents and their Christian faith.

This case brings to mind three passages of Scripture:
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” [Romans 12:1-2]

“Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one
who endures to the end will be saved.” [Matthew 10:21-22]

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in- law against her mother-in- law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow
me is not worthy of me.” [Matthew 10:34-38]
